Ebola concerns:  During our last trip in 2015, Ebola was a concern to students.  Now, it is not a concern in Africa.  At the time, we reminded studenst and families that Ebola was in west Africa.  Namibia is in southern Africa--almost 5000 miles from the Ebola outbreak .  That is about the distance of Nebraska from Brazil.  Our trip will not raise your risk for Ebola!  But, you can put your self at ease by glancing at the CDC website for college students traveling to Africa.  UNL and CASNR always put student concerns first as we plan our study trips!
