Opportunity for ideas, questions, feedback on the 9th edition of the TWS Wildlife Techniques Manual
Drs. Larkin Powell and John Carroll, University of Nebraska-Lincoln' s School of Natural Resources, have been assigned by Johns Hopkins University Press and The Wildlife Society as co-editors of 9th edition of The Wildlife Society's Wildlife Techniques Manual. The 8th edition, edited by Nova Silvy, is available as of August 2020.
We will be contacting author teams with invitations to support the 9th edition, and we will be making every attempt to be sure that our lead authors and co-authors are reflective of the best of our profession with a background that will enhance the impact of a chapter designed to support the management and research community, as well as the next generation of biologists and managers--our students engaged in discovery.
We will also be making a sweeping attempt to be inclusive of the diversity of region, taxonomy, academic/non, gender, and race and ethnicity. To that end, we invite you nominate colleagues or yourself for consideration as authors.
If you have suggestions for content or have questions for the editors, please use the form below! We look forward to hearing from you!
